How Many Social Media Users Are There in Turkey?

We think that there is no age group left that is not influenced by social media. Social media platforms, which increase the number of users every day and are preferred by both individuals and brands, are making their voices heard to increasingly large audiences.

Considering that thanks to the universality of social media use and many new features, users can now agree on each other's language even if they do not know each other's language, there are no boundaries in the digital world.

How many social media users are there in Turkey?

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu answered this question at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Planning and Budget Commission. He stated that the number of social media users in our country is 75 million, and that this number corresponds to 1.4% of the number of users worldwide. As you know, considering that Turkey's population is 85 million, we can say that around 88% of people use social media.
While we are talking about the number of social media users, it is impossible not to mention the daily internet time in our country :) The average daily internet time is 7 hours. This period is 8% above the world average. I guess we should think about this...
